When you visit the centre, we ask for your comments and suggestions on how to improve the Centre.
We thought it would be good to let you know we do act upon your requests and this is our response to last years comments. FLEXIBLE MEALTIMES-More child friendly food options
You felt breakfast was too early if you had to wash and dress each child.
We will make breakfast available from 8.30 till you finish. Evening meal will be from 5.30 till you finish. In 2010 we are introducing more child friendly meal options such as chicken nuggets and chips in response to your comments. SECURE ROOMS/ STRIPPABLE ROOMS WITH WASHABLE FLOORING Now available on both floors LARGER FRIDGES IN KITCHINETTES
Both have now a full height fridge. BEDS AND BEDDING
Normal non-waterproof covered bedding now available for staff.
Our waterproof bedding has all been replaced with more breathable products.
All of our beds have new pressure relief mattresses. |  |
| HIGH SIDED BEDS
We have 2 of these on the ground floorwith electrically adjustable bases. On the first floor we have a Kindersafe soft sided full bed surround HOISTS
We have increased the range of hoists with the purchase of an Arjo Maxi Move straight lift hoist and Arjo Minstrell cantilever hoist. Arjo Sky overhead tracking has been installed in the ground floor sluice room to free up floor space. Both spreader bars take the normal looped slings. MORE BEAN BAGS
Now in all lounges. HEATING PROBLEMS
We received a wonderful grant to replace the entire heating and hot water system at the Centre. Work is now complete. Fans are now available to cool rooms in summer and we have blinds in all rooms to control sunlight |
